Life Insurance Association Forms New Committee with Pravin Raman Parajuli as President

The Life Insurance Association held its 6th Annual General Meeting on 14th September 2025 in Kathmandu, forming a new committee. Pravin Raman Parajuli, CEO of Nepal Life Insurance Company, was unanimously elected as President. Other office-bearers include Prakash Bikram Khatri (Vice President), Narayan Lohani (Secretary), Dinesh Lal Shrestha (Treasurer), and members Manoj Lal Karn, Sundar Panthi, and Pranay Kumar.

The new committee committed to promoting the development of Nepal’s insurance sector, enhancing awareness, improving employee skills, safeguarding rights, expanding life insurance services, and playing an active role in policy-making. The AGM was attended by association members and representatives from various insurance companies, with discussions on current challenges, opportunities, and future strategies in the life insurance sector.
