Let us overcome crisis in collaboration- DPM KC

Deputy Prime Minister Chitra Bahadur KC has underlined the need of collaboration among all the political parties and citizens to bail the country out of current crisis. At a press meet organized by Rastriya Janamorcha, Myagdi in Beni this morning, DPM KC, who is also the Minister for Cooperative and Poverty Alleviation, said that the border blockade has created acute shortage of medicines and fuels in Nepal. "The blockade is not a new one. India has imposed such blockade against Nepal several times in the past as well. So, there is no alternative to join hands to overcome the crisis together so as to safeguard nationality, integrity and sovereignty of the country", he added. He shared that the incumbent government is exploring various alternatives to resolve the current crisis. The new constitution has addressed many of the demands put forth by Madhes-centric parties he claimed, adding that other demands could also be addressed through dialogue. RSS
