Laxmi Equity Fund (LEMF) is distributing a 35% cash dividend directly to the bank accounts of its shareholders from today, i.e. Shrawan 21.
LEMF is distributing a 35% cash dividend for the fiscal year 2077/78. Shrawan 15 was the book closure date. Thus, investors maintained before that day are entitled to the dividend payout.
The 68th meeting of the board held on Shrawan 07 proposed a 35% cash dividend for Laxmi Equity Fund for the fiscal year 2077/78. LEMF is a closed-end, equity-oriented mutual fund scheme with a maturity period of 7 years. The fund is promoted by Laxmi Bank and managed by Laxmi Capital Market Limited.
LEMF had distributed a 4.25% cash dividend for the fiscal year 2076/77. Laxmi Unnati Kosh (LUK), another mutual fund managed by Laxmi Capital also recently has already distributed a 25% cash dividend for the fiscal year 2077/78.
For those who have not authenticated their bank account in their Demat accounts and for those who have not dematerialized their shares, the cash dividend will be distributed only after they complete the necessary procedure. Furthermore, investors who have taken margin loans against the units of the fund are required to present a No Objection Letter or a Release Letter, depending on when they took the loan.
