Land Revenue Collection Reaches Rs 5 Billion in Magh, Shows Slight Decline from Previous Month
Land Revenue Offices across the country collected approximately Rs 5 billion in revenue during the month of Magh, recording a slight decline compared to the previous month.
According to the Land Management and Record Department, the nationwide offices generated around Rs 315.8 million from service tax, more than Rs 2.68 billion from registration fees, and over Rs 1.96 billion from capital gains tax during the review period.
The Department stated that revenue collection in the preceding month of Poush had reached Rs 5.17 billion, indicating a modest drop in Magh.
Officials also noted that real estate transactions have not shown significant growth in recent months. In Magh, a total of 50,837 real estate properties were traded, a figure only slightly higher than transactions recorded in the same month of the last fiscal year.
The data suggests that while the property market remains active, it has yet to witness a substantial expansion that could drive stronger revenue growth.
