Labour Minister Vows Strong Action to Curb Fraud in Foreign Employment Sector

Minister for Youth, Labour and Employment Ramji Yadav has said the government will take effective measures to control fraud and cheating in the foreign employment sector. Responding to queries raised by lawmakers during various meetings of the House of Representatives, the minister stated that the issue would be addressed through the effective implementation of existing laws and institutional mechanisms.

He informed Parliament that complaints related to foreign employment fraud are still being received and added that the ministry has also focused on reviewing and amending current laws and regulations to strengthen the system.
