Kumari Bank Partners with HELVETAS Nepal to Expand Green Finance

Kumari Bank Limited has signed an MoU with HELVETAS Swiss Intercooperation Nepal to expand access to finance and business development support for micro-entrepreneurs, farmers, youth-led enterprises and other stakeholders in Nepal’s emerging green economy.

The partnership will combine Kumari Bank’s financial expertise and nationwide banking network with HELVETAS Nepal’s experience in inclusive economic development, enterprise promotion and value-chain strengthening.

The initiative will focus on value-chain financing, improving enterprises’ financial management capacity and supporting businesses contributing to Nepal’s green transition.

Through the collaboration, the two organizations aim to promote sustainable enterprises, employment, innovation, stronger green value chains and climate-resilient economic growth.
