Kumari Bank Limited (KBL) has distributed 2.67% cash dividend directly to the bank accounts of its shareholders.
Kumari Bank convened its 21st AGM for the FY 2077-78 under the leadership of its chairman Mr. Amir Pratap J.B. Rana on Kartik 16, 2078. Apart from the regular financial reports, the AGM endorsed the board’s proposal to provide 6% bonus shares and 2.67% cash dividends to its shareholders. The same cash dividend is now deposited to bank accounts of eligible shareholders.
Kartik 08 was the book closure date. Thus, shareholders maintained before that day are entitled to the dividend payout. For those who have not authenticated their bank account in their Demat accounts and for those who have not dematerialized their shares, the cash dividend will be distributed only after they complete the necessary procedure. Furthermore, investors who have taken margin loans against the shares are required to present a No Objection Letter or a Release Letter, depending on when they took the loan.
The bank currently has 196 branches, 175 ATM booths, 14 extension counters, and 33 branchless banking units under its network. As of writing, KBL has an LTP of Rs. 268.
