Kamana Sewa Bikas Bank Provides Rs. 25 Lakh for Bhote Koshi Flood Relief

Kamana Sewa Bikas Bank Limited (KSBBL) has provided Rs. 25 lakh to support rescue, relief, and rehabilitation efforts for citizens affected by the flood in the Bhote Koshi River in Rasuwa on Bhadra 10. The contribution includes Rs. 10 lakh under the bank’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative and Rs. 15 lakh equivalent to one day’s salary contributed by its employees. The amount has been deposited into the Prime Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund following a decision by the bank’s Board of Directors.

The bank said the support will help address the immediate needs of affected families and communities and strengthen ongoing relief and rescue efforts. It also expressed condolences to those who lost their lives, sympathy to bereaved families, and wishes for the speedy recovery of the injured, while thanking security personnel, government and non-government agencies, local authorities, volunteers, and other organizations involved in the response.
