Jyoti Bikas Bank opens new branch in Dhangadi

Jyoti Bikas Bank Limited has opened new branch office in Dhangadi-4, Chauraha of Kailali District.
Dhananjaya Sharma, Director of Nepal Rastra Bank, Dhangadi and Nripa Bahadur Badh, Mayor of Dhangadi jointly inaugurated the branch amid a function held today (Mangsir 6, 2074).
Jyoti Bikas Bank has been expanding its branches in order to provide services in the remote areas and in such places where there is lack of excess of financial services.
Issuing the press statement published by the development bank yesterday, it states that, the bank is now serving from its 46 branches and 14 ATM outlets in different parts of the country. Moreover, the development bank has been providing ABBS, SMS Banking, Mobile Banking, ATM Card, ASBA services to its customers.
Last week only, the development bank has opened branches in Nepaltar, Makawanpur, Hetauda and Mahottari.
The development bank has collected Rs 12.40 arba in deposits and extended Rs 10.70 arba in loans till date. After its acquisition of Raptibheri Development Bank, the bank has able to maintain its paid up capital of Rs. 2.37 arba. Jyoti Bikas Bank will maintain the minimum paid up capital requirement by issuing bonus share from the profit it earned in the last fiscal year 2073/74.
