Janata Bank proposes 14.40% bonus shares; paid up capital to reach Rs 8.01 arba

Janata Bank Nepal Limited (JBNL) has proposed dividend to its shareholders.
As per the notice published by the bank, the board meeting of the bank held on Mangsir 15, 2074 has proposed 14.40% bonus shares to its shareholders from the net profit it had earned in the FY 2073/74.
The decision is subjected to the approval from the Nepal Rastra Bank and upcoming AGM of the bank.
Its current paid up capital stands at Rs 6.99 arba and after distribution of bonus shares, it will reach to Rs 8.01 arba.
It had earned Rs 6.48 crore in the first quarter of the FY 2074/75.
Its LTP stood at Rs 244 as of last trading day.
