An investigation committee formed to look into allegations against former Home Minister Sudhan Gurung has completed its task and submitted its official report to Prime Minister Balen Shah. The 45 page document details the findings of the inquiry into Gurung’s actions and financial dealings during his time in office.

The investigation was initially launched after serious allegations emerged regarding Gurung's business connections. He was accused of having an undisclosed business partnership on share market with businessman Deepak Bhatt and deliberately hiding shares in a company. Following the controversy and the subsequent launch of the investigation, Gurung had stepped down from his Home Minister position.

The submitted report covers the committee's thorough review of the evidence and testimonies collected during the investigation period. With the report now officially in the hands of the Prime Minister, the government is expected to review the findings and decide on the next legal or political steps regarding the case. If the Gurung found innocent then he is probably likely to become Home Minister again.
