Interaction on portfolio management draws eager crowd of investors

ShareSansar, March 15:

ShareSansar oranzied an interaction program on portfolio management on March 13, Friday. The interaction program was conducted by Mr Sandeep Pradhan, the head of Investment Banking and company secretary at Laxmi Capital Market Limited.

There were about 30 participants at the interaction session.

Mr Pradhan through his presentation explained the benefits of having a portfolio and how investors can optimize returns from their investment by letting professional manage it. Mr Pradhan’s presentation also dwelt on the methods of how investment bankers charge fees to their clients.

At the end of presentation, the participants were allowed to ask questions to Mr Pradhan.

Mr Pradhan said that investing, including in shares, is much more secure when done in consultation with investment bankers as they rely heavily on research and trend analysis carried out by their team of professionals with great deal of experience in the finance sector.   

Encouraged by the enthusiastic participation of investors, ShareSansar hopes to organize such sessions even in future to help investors learn more about portfolio management so that they can benefit from this investment tool.

Portfolio management is quite popular in developed and developing markets worldwide but experts say that Nepalese investors have only recently started to catch up with the tool.
