inDrive has completed the first cohort of its Driving Naari Nepal programme, certifying ten women after three months of professional two-wheeler driving, road safety, licensing, and self-defence training.

Launched in April 2026, the initiative aims to empower women from underserved communities by creating economic opportunities in Nepal’s mobility sector and encouraging greater female participation in ride-hailing services. During the certification ceremony in Kathmandu, participants received certificates, safety kits, and prizes, including an electric scooter, smartphones, and smartwatches.

inDrive officials, Kathmandu Valley Traffic Police, and brand ambassador Swastima Khadka highlighted the programme’s role in promoting women's safety, financial independence, and inclusion while expanding transportation choices for passengers. The company plans to build on the programme’s success and replicate it in other markets.
