Indreni Mushroom Farm Expands with High-Tech Facility in Makwanpur, Eyes IPO by 2082
Indreni Mushroom Farm Limited, Nepal’s leading industrial-scale mushroom producer, has laid the foundation stone for its second high-tech facility in Kaliban Samari, Makwanpurgadhi-5. The ceremony was inaugurated by Bagmati Province’s Agriculture Minister Prakash Shrestha. Established in 2014 (2071 B.S.), the company pioneered modern compost and automated farming systems in Nepal.
The new unit, spread over 44 kattha, will feature remote-controlled production systems and aims to boost daily output from 1,000 kg to 3,000 kg. With an investment of NPR 240 million over two years, the project will also expand the product range under Indreni’s brand. The company is preparing for an IPO, with plans to apply in the fiscal year 2082/83. The event drew top provincial officials, agricultural experts, and community leaders.
