At the “Pre-Budget ICT Discourse 2083” organized by ICT Foundation Nepal, stakeholders called for clear policies, increased budget allocation, and a simplified tax system to boost Nepal’s digital economy.
Experts highlighted issues such as policy ambiguity, high taxation, weak infrastructure, and limited startup support. They stressed the need for public-private collaboration, improved fintech systems, AI-focused education, and stronger cybersecurity frameworks to position Nepal as a competitive digital hub.
