ICRA Nepal Limited has reaffirmed the issuer rating of Chandragiri Hills Limited at [ICRANP-IR] BB+, while removing the company from its previous ‘watch with negative implications’ status, signaling an improvement in the company’s credit outlook.
According to ICRA Nepal, the BB+ rating indicates a moderate risk of default in meeting financial obligations on time, reflecting the company’s overall creditworthiness rather than any specific debt instrument.
The rating agency clarified that within its rating scale, the plus (+) and minus (-) symbols indicate relative positioning within the same category, meaning BB+ ranks one level higher than BB, while BB- ranks one level below BB.
The latest revision suggests improved confidence in the financial stability of Chandragiri Hills Limited, a key player in Nepal’s tourism and hospitality sector.
