House of Representatives to Meet Today at 1 PM to Discuss Four Key Bills
The House of Representatives is meeting today at 1:00 PM, according to the Federal Parliament Secretariat.
The session will begin with ministers answering oral questions regarding the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Youth, Labor, and Employment. Following the question and answer hour, ministers will present four major proposals seeking permission to introduce the Employees Provident Fund (Tenth Amendment) Bill by Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle, the Mediation (Second Amendment) Bill by Law Minister Sobita Gautam, the Child Labor (Prohibition and Regulation) Bill by Youth Minister Ramji Yadav, and the Constitutional Bodies Officials’ Perks and Benefits Bill presented on behalf of Prime Minister Balendra Shah.
The day’s sitting will conclude with discussions and a vote to officially pass the Nepal Special Service Bill, which aims to revive original provisions alongside the State Affairs Committee's report.
