Himalayan Everest Insurance Achieves Robust Growth Amid Competitive Market

Himalayan Everest Insurance (HEI) has posted impressive growth by the end of fiscal year 2081/82 (July 2025), earning a total premium of NPR 4.03 billion and recording double-digit growth despite fierce competition in Nepal’s non-life insurance sector. The company settled claims worth NPR 1.65 billion, emphasizing its commitment to efficient and timely claim processing.
CEO Anju Shrestha expressed renewed confidence and energy from this success, stating HEI will continue focusing on customer satisfaction, digital transformation, and grassroots outreach. The insurer remains financially stable, with rising earnings per share, even amid increasing claims from natural disasters and higher operational costs.
