Hero launches Xtreme Sports in Nepal

Nepal General Marketing (NGM) has launched Hero´s latest offering -- Xtreme Sports -- in the domestic

market.

Aveek Jyoti, managing director of NGM, launched the bike amid a function on Thursday. Speaking at the program, Jyoti said: “Xtreme Sports, as the name suggests, is a sporty bike with stylish finish. It incorporates state-of-the-art technology. It has been launched targeting the youth."

The single disc version of Xtreme Sports will be available at Rs 221,500, while the double disc version will cost Rs 230,000.

The new Xtreme Sports comes with air-cooled four-stroke single cylinder OHC engine which delivers maximum power of 15.4 PS at 8,500 rpm and maximum torque of 13.50 NM at 7,000 rpm. It has dual brow LED pilot lamps, wide tubeless tires in the rear, multiple wet clutch, and telescopic hydraulic front and rectangular swing arm rear suspension.

Other features in the bike include side stand indicator on its digital meter console, new and stylish visor, and alloy wheels, among others. The Xtreme Sports is available in five color options -- Panther Black, Fiery Red, Mercuric Silver, Pyro Orange, Black and Red.

Meanwhile, the company has announced to provide Xtreme Holiday Package to 10 lucky customers. “The lucky winners will get a trip to Pokhara, enjoy zip flyer in Pokhara and rafting in Kurintar,” NGM officials said.
