Govt seals Coffee Shop and Café at Teaching Hospital

KATHMANDU:

A market monitoring team of the Department of Commerce and Supply Management (DoCSM) today sealed and restricted operation of Coffee Shop and Café being operated on the premises of Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital, Maharajgunj, Kathmandu.

The shop has been charged of failing to maintain hygiene and neglecting previous instructions issued by the monitoring team.

As per the DoCSM officials, the shop was found to be selling outdated cakes and using milk of Sujal brand with packaging date of March 14.During the monitoring, a total of 25 packets of milk with packaging date of March 14 were seized.
