Govt. planning to reach historic agreement with China; Spokesperson Rai

Spokesperson of the government Sherdhan Rai on Monday said that the government was planning to reach new and historic agreements with China. Talking to media persons and chief of government offices at Phaplu airport in Solukhumbu, Rai, also Minister for Information and Communications, said that the agreements include opening of all border points with China permanently. In a different context, he also said that it was need of the hour for civil servants to maintain discipline, saying that the incumbent government has come up with a two-year reforms work plan. He also stressed on the need for all to work united with high confidence to make people aware about the new constitution that has accommodated aspirations of all. Likewise, asking concerned authorities to come to the government with plans for the development of the tourist destination Solukhumbu, he said that the government was committed to carrying out every phase of development of the district in the days to come. On the occasion, saying that the district is often deprived of telephone service for as long as a week at times due to various technical glitches in the service provided by Nepal Telecom, Chief District Officer Krishna Prasad Sharma requested the minister to help seek permanent solution to the problem.
