Government Calls for Applications for Chairperson of Securities Board of Nepal; Apply Before Baisakh 21
The Government of Nepal has invited applications for the vacant Chairperson position of the Securities Board of Nepal.
A recommendation committee formed by the government issued a public notice calling for applications, requesting interested candidates to submit their credentials within 7 days of publication, i.e., by Baisakh 21, during office hours at the Ministry of Finance.
The position has remained vacant since Santosh Narayan Shrestha resigned on Baisakh 4. He had been appointed to the role on Mangsir 10, 2081.
To facilitate the appointment process, the government has formed a three member recommendation committee under the coordination of Dr. Gunakar Bhatta, Vice Chairman of the National Planning Commission. Other members include Finance Secretary Ghanashyam Upadhya and former banker Bhuvan Kumar Dahal.
The committee will shortlist candidates based on the applications received and recommend a suitable candidate to the government for final appointment.
