Gold Price Drops While Silver Hits All-Time High in Nepali Market
The price of gold has declined in the Nepali market, while silver has surged to a record high, according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association (FENEGOSIDA).
On Tuesday, the price of fine gold decreased by Rs. 600 per tola compared to the previous trading day. Currently, fine gold is being traded at Rs. 190,000 per tola. On Monday, the price stood at Rs. 190,600 per tola.
In contrast, silver has witnessed a notable rise in its price, setting a new record. The price of silver increased by Rs. 15 per tola and is now being traded at Rs. 2,165 per tola — the highest ever recorded in Nepal’s bullion market.
