Gold price down by Rs 700 per tola

KATHMANDU, Feb 18:

Gold price came down by Rs 700 per tola (11.664 grams) on Wednesday. According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers´ Association, gold was traded at Rs 52,000 per tola on Wednesday compared to Tuesday´s price of Rs 52,700.

Officials of the federation attributed the drop in gold price in the domestic market to price fall in the international bullion market.

Gold was traded at $1,208 per troy ounce in the international market on Wednesday.

On Tuesday, price of yellow metal was $1,227.70 per troy ounce in the global market.
