Gold on Losing Streak; Loses Rs. 3,100 Per Tola in Last 3 Trading Days

The price of gold is on a losing streak for a few days now.

According to the official website of the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, fine gold is being traded today at Rs. 90,000 per tola. On the last market-open day last week, the rate was maintained at Rs. 90,800 per tola. Meanwhile, Tejabi gold is being traded at Rs. 89,550. In contrast, the rate was maintained at Rs. 90,300 per tola. Thus, gold has lost Rs. 800 per tola on the first day of this week.

Gold had slipped Rs. 1,100 per tola last Thursday and Rs. 1,200 last Friday.

On the sideline, silver has also lost Rs. 15 per tola today. The lustrous white metal is being traded in the local market today at Rs. 1,290 per tola, compared to its last week's closing rate of Rs. 1,305 per tola.
