Global IME Bank Limted Promotes Buddhi Akela to ACEO

Global IME Bank Limited has promoted Buddhi Akela to the position of Assistant Chief Executive Officer (ACEO).

Buddhi Akela was serving as Deputy General Manager and was also handling the role of Chief Risk Officer (CRO). He has over 22 years of banking experience and has been associated with Global IME Bank since 2006.

He began his banking career at Nepal Bank in 2004 as Deputy Manager. During his career, he has worked across risk management, business expansion, branch operations, credit administration and internal audit.

Akela also serves as chairperson of the board of Global IME Microfinance Bittiya Sanstha, a subsidiary of Global IME Bank. He holds an MBA from Pokhara University.
