Global IME Bank Limited has announced the launch of Global IME Udyamshala, a new entrepreneurship development program aimed at promoting innovation and strengthening Nepal’s micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). The announcement was made on the occasion of World MSME Day 2026, with applications now open for entrepreneurs and individuals with innovative business ideas across the country.
The program will operate under two models: Incubation for young entrepreneurs with new business ideas and Acceleration for existing businesses seeking expansion and modernization. Through the initiative, participants will receive practical training, mentorship, business development support, guidance on market access, and knowledge of legal procedures, taxation, financial management, and technology adoption.
Speaking at the launch event held at the bank’s headquarters in Kamaladi, CEO Surendra Raj Regmi said the platform has been created to address common challenges faced by small- and medium-sized entrepreneurs and to help build sustainable businesses. The bank said the initiative reflects its broader commitment to supporting entrepreneurship and economic growth beyond traditional banking services.
