Global IME Bank Launches EV Charging Station to Promote Sustainability

Global IME Bank Limited has inaugurated an electric vehicle (EV) charging station at its corporate office in Kamaladi, Kathmandu, coinciding with World Environment Day and its 18th anniversary. The station, launched in partnership with Gadi Charge Pvt. Ltd., supports the bank’s green banking strategy and will serve both staff and customers.

Alongside this, the bank has launched a nationwide campaign to plant 18,000 trees and plans to expand eco-friendly initiatives, including green financing and energy-efficient infrastructure. With operations in all 77 districts, Global IME Bank aims to lead sustainable banking efforts in Nepal. The bank has also been internationally recognized, including being named Best Bank in Nepal 2024 by Global Finance.
