Gandaki Bikas Bank inaugurates its new branch in Birtamod

Gandaki Bikas Bank has conducted formal inauguration program of its new branch located in Birtamod, Jhapa. The newly opened branch was inaugurated by Chairman of the bank, Mr. Jagan Bahadur Gurung. Now, the customers can avail ABBS, ATM SMS banking, mobile banking, deposits, loans and remittance services from this branch. Issuing a press statement published by the company, it stated that, In the fiscal year 2073/74, the development bank has earned operating profit of Rs. 85 crore while its total accumulated deposit and borrowing were Rs 18.33 arba and Rs. 16.51 arba respectively. Moreover, the bank’s non-performing loan (NPL) stand at 0.4 percent. The development bank has been providing a different type of loan scheme with minimal interest through its 53 branch offices to the customer.
