Framework for allowing banks to provide broker services finally complete; System formally implemented from Shrawan 14, 2076

The Monetary Policy of last year had introduced a policy to allow commercial banks to perform broker services to expand the reach of Nepali Capital Market to all parts of the country. However, the policy hadn't been formally implmented due the lack of working procedure and framework.

Finally NEPSE has introduced "Nepal Stock Exchange Limited-Procedure for providing recommendation to subsidiaries of Commercial Bank to provide broker services, 2076". This procedure will provide base to commercial banks' subsidiaries to obtain license from SEBON to provide broker services. The regulation is formally brought into action from Shrawan 16, 2076.
