Fonepay Launches Checkout by Fonepay for Faster Online Payments

Fonepay has officially launched Checkout by Fonepay, a new online payment solution designed to speed up ecommerce transactions by letting customers pay directly within a merchant's checkout flow, without switching apps or repeating login and OTP steps.

The service is currently available through the mobile banking apps of 11 partner banks and financial institutions, including Agricultural Development Bank, Citizens Bank International, Garima Bikas Bank, Kumari Bikas Bank, Laxmi Sunrise Bank, Manjushree Finance, Muktinath Bikas Bank, Nabil Bank, Prabhu Bank, Rastriya Banijya Bank and Sanima Bank. Fonepay said more banks and merchants will be added in the coming months.

Fasto is the first merchant to integrate the service, allowing its customers to pay through Checkout by Fonepay directly within the ordering process.To celebrate, Fonepay and Fasto are running a campaign from July 7 to July 13, offering customers 20 percent cashback up to NPR 1,000 on orders paid via Checkout by Fonepay.
