Fonepay Hosts 21st Asian Payment Network Forum, Strengthening Nepal’s Role in Regional Digital Payments

Fonepay successfully hosted the 1st Meeting of the 21st Asian Payment Network (APN) Forum on May 6–7 at Hilton Kathmandu, bringing together delegates from 14 countries to discuss the future of cross-border digital payments in Asia.

Key highlights included leadership elections, strategic discussions on payment integration, and a visit to Nepal’s Prime Minister.

Fonepay was elected Vice Chairman of APN and Chair of the Technical Sub-Committee. The event marked Nepal’s growing influence in digital finance and underscored Fonepay’s leadership in fostering secure, inclusive, and interoperable payment systems.
