FNCCI APPEALS FOR SOCIAL HARMONY
KATHMANDU, Aug 26:
Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) has urged Nepali people to maintain reconciliation and social harmony.
Expressing disappointment at the current scenario of riot in different parts of the country, specially in Tikapur of Kailali, FNCCI has requested the government and political parties to make commitment to ensure that such activities will not take place again.
Informing that the biggest power of Nepali people is the feeling of mutual goodwill and brotherhood, FNCCI has asked all firms, organization, government and political parties to remain alert against violation of this power. "The government should, at the earliest, endorse a constitution constitution that is inclusive and incorporates rights and demands of people," FNCCI said in the press release. FNCCI has said that ongoing riots and regular strikes will make negative impact on country's economy which is already at a miserable condition after the earthquake. "In this situation, all people should stand together and unite to help the country get constitution in time," reads the release.
