Five House of Representatives Thematic Committees to Hold Separate Meetings Today

Today, five thematic committees under the Federal Parliament, House of Representatives, will hold their meetings separately. The meetings of the Finance Committee, Women and Social Affairs Committee, Education, Health and Information Technology Committee, State Affairs and Good Governance Committee, and Public Account Committee are all on the agenda.

According to the Federal Parliament Secretariat, the Finance Committee will meet at 1:00 p.m., while the Account Committee will meet at 2:00 p.m. to address the complaints that have been brought to their attention. In addition, the Women and Social Affairs Committee will engage in a theoretical and periodic discussion regarding the report from the sub-committee focused on drafting procedures and the Bill, 2083, which pertains to the implementation of the provisions of the Nepal Special Service Act, 2042.

Meanwhile, the Education, Health and Information Technology Committee is expected to discuss the National Forensic Science Laboratory (Establishment and Operation) Bill 2081 during their meeting, which is running from 11:00 a.m.
