Fire destroys property worth about three million in Gorkha

Property worth about three million rupees was gutted by fire in two separate incidents in the district last night. The fire destroyed the Gorakhkali Cotton Industry at Gorkha Municipality-7 and destroyed the property worth about two million rupees, said Surendra Bhusal, proprietor at the industry. Similarly, the Shanker Tailors at the same Municipality-1 was also destroyed by the fire. The fire destroyed the property worth about one million rupees in the incident. The cause behind the both fire incidents was short circuit. The fire was doused through joint effort of locals and police, said police inspector Keshav Regmi. RSS
