Everest Insurance Q4 profit declines by 1%; Reserve Fund surged to Rs 5.13 cr

Everest Insurance Company Limited (EIC) has posted 1% drop in profit as per the unaudited fourth quarterly financial report published today.
The non-life insurance company has stated decrease in the net profit from Rs 5.93 crore in the corresponding quarter of FY 2070/71 as compared to Rs 3.97 crore in the fourth quarter of FY 2071/72.
The company’s net earnings from premiums grew to Rs 5.13 crore in Q4 from Rs 3.47 crore in the same quarter last year.
The insurance company has paid up capital of Rs 10.12 crore.
The positive aspect of Everest’s financial report for the fourth quarter is that its reserve fund has reached 14.26 crore in Q4, up from Rs10.28 in the previous fiscal year.
Their policy holder has drastically increased to 9.40 thousand by the end of this quarter from 3.85 thousand reported in the same period of last year.
EIC EPS stands at Rs 39.25; P/E ratio is at 22.06 times and net worth per share at Rs 289.27.
