Ekata Bikash expands its branches to 10 districts

Ekata Bikash bank has expanded its network of branches from 3 districts to 10.
At a press meet held at its head office in Butwal, the bank said it started its journey from three districts and on Kartik 7, 2068, and after 3 years it has managed to expand its services to 7 more districts, taking the total branches to 10.
The bank started its operation from Rupandehi, Kapilvastu and Dang, and went on to establish branches in Pyuthan, Rolpa, Rukum, Salyang, Surkhet, Banke and Kailali.
The authorized capital remains at Rs 40 crore and paid up capital at Rs 20 crore. The bank has promoter-public share ratio of 60 percent to 40 percent. The bank has decided to raise its paid up capital up to Rs 34 crore 50 lakhs in the upcoming fiscal year report 2072/73.
Ekata Bikash has also shown willingness to enter merger process with other financial institutions and is planning to upgrade into a development bank within 4 years.
