Economic Survey to Be Presented in House of Representatives Today

The Economic Survey for the fiscal year 2081/82 is scheduled to be presented at the meeting of the House of Representatives (HoR) today.

Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Paudel will present the annual survey during the parliamentary session, according to the Federal Parliament Secretariat. The HoR meeting is set to begin at 11:00 AM.

As per the scheduled agenda, relevant ministers will also respond to lawmakers’ questions related to various ministries, including Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation; Energy and Irrigation; and Forest and Environment.

Additionally, Minister for Women, Children, and Senior Citizens, Nawal Kishor Saha Sudi, will table the Child Rights (First Amendment) Bill, 2082.

Minister for Education, Science and Technology, Raghuji Panta, will present a proposal seeking consideration of the Tilganga Eye University Bill, 2081.
