Dragon Air honors top agents

KATHMANDU, Aug 18:

On the occasion of its 30th anniversary, DragonAir awarded its top performing passenger and cargo agents in Nepal for their excellent service to passengers and their contribution in the Nepali market in the year 2014.

According to a companystatement, Charlie Stewart-Cox, general manager of Cathay Pacific and Dragonair for South Asia, Middle East & Africa, and Siddhartha SJB Rana, chairman of Amravati Travels -- the general sales agent of DragonAir in Nepal -- presented awards to the agents. The wining agents for passenger awards are Sumegh Tours and Travel, Osho World Travel Nepal, Serene Travels, Megabyte Travels & Tours and Gorkha Vision Travels & Tours. Similarly, Jaya Travels & Tours was announced as the winner of the outstanding performance in front end business and Yeti Travels won the award for securing highest growth in front end revenue, according to the statement. Likewise, the winners of cargo awards are Legend Cargo, Shangri-La Freight,World Freight International, Kumari Air Freight International and Rising Star Cargo. “During the ceremony, DragonAir's Country Manager of Nepal Parthenia Lai thanked the agents for their continued support throughout 2014 and highlighted Nepal as a market of great potential, with continued inbound tourist demand, and increasing numbers of Nepalis working and studyingoverseas,” said the statement.
