Dirgha Bahadur Rawal Takes Oath as Nepal Rastra Bank Deputy Governor

Dirgha Bahadur Rawal, the newly appointed Deputy Governor of Nepal Rastra Bank, has taken the oath of office and secrecy before Governor Prof. Dr. Biswo Nath Poudel and assumed his duties.

He was appointed Deputy Governor by the Cabinet on Bhadra 3, 2083 BS. Rawal joined Nepal Rastra Bank as an Assistant Director in 2062 BS and steadily rose through the ranks to become Executive Director in Jestha 2082. Following his promotion, he served in the Bank Supervision Department.
