Diesel, Kerosene cheaper by Rs 1 each
Sep 6, 2015
The Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) on Sunday slashed the prices of Diesel and Kerosene by Rs 1 each.
With the revision, the price of Diesel and Kerosene has been fixed at Rs 81 per litre.
The state-owned oil monopoly cut the prices to maintain scientific tariff, said NOC spokesperson Deepak Baral. The public transportation fare is likely to decrease with the decrease.
Earlier, the transport entrepreneurs were adamant against maintaining scientific tariff citing that the prices of petroleum products were not set as per the criteria.
