City Development opens 13th branch in Malpot Chowk, Chitwan

City Development Bank Limited (CDBL) has opened its 13th branch in Malpot Chowk, Chitwan. The branch was formally inaugurated by Inland Revenue Department Director general Chudamani Sharma on Friday.

According to the bank’s CEO, Mr Bishwo Mohan Adhikari, at the inauguration program, the chairman of the bank distributed Euro Guard to blind and mentally disabled students of Namuna Higher Secondary School, provided stationery items to deaf students of Chitwan Secondary School and distributed buckets to Mothers’ Group.

The bank’s paid up capital remains at Rs 46.81 crore. While it has mobilized deposits of Rs 4 arba 33 crore, its loans and advances stood at Rs 3 arba 64 crore.  The bank reported net profit of Rs 8.60 crore in first half of the current fiscal year.
