Citizens Bank's CSR Initiatives Benefit Thousands Across all Seven provinces

Citizens Bank International Limited has said its corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives reached millions of people across Nepal during the fiscal year 2082/83 through programs focused on financial literacy, healthcare, education, and environmental conservation.

The bank said it conducted financial literacy programs through its 148 branches across all seven provinces, reaching around 10,000 students, women, farmers, labourers, aspiring migrant workers, and other target groups with awareness on savings, digital banking, cybersecurity, and financial management.

During the year, the bank also organized free eye screening and cataract surgery camps in Bara, donated medical equipment to a health post in Myagdi, planted 1,500 saplings nationwide under its "One Account, One Tree" campaign, and distributed educational materials, including tracksuits and Braille learning resources, to students in remote areas.

According to the bank, it has implemented more than 100 CSR projects so far, supporting financial inclusion and contributing to improvements in healthcare, education, environmental protection, and community development across the country.
