Citizens Bank Supports Rural Health Facility Under CSR Initiative

Citizens Bank International Limited has provided essential medical equipment and clean drinking water infrastructure support to Rakhu Bhagwati Health Post in Raghuganga Rural Municipality–2, Myagdi, under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program.

The support, delivered through the bank’s Beni branch, includes hospital beds, a baby warmer, an instrument trolley, and HDPE pipes for a clean water supply.

The health post, which serves over 4,300 residents and operates a 24-hour maternity service, is expected to improve its healthcare delivery with this assistance, particularly benefiting maternal and child health services.

The bank stated that the initiative aims to strengthen healthcare access for marginalized and rural communities and plans to continue similar CSR activities in social, economic, educational, and cultural sectors in the future.
