Citizens Bank Conducts Financial Literacy Programs Across All Seven Provinces
Citizens Bank International Limited has conducted financial literacy programs through 148 branches across all seven provinces during the fiscal year 2082/83, reaching nearly 10,000 people from diverse groups, including women, students, farmers, workers, and prospective migrant workers.
The programs focused on the importance of financial literacy, digital banking risks and fraud, and the use of formal banking channels for cash transactions, remittances, and other financial activities.

The bank also carried out various CSR initiatives, including providing school uniforms and warm sweaters to 196 underprivileged and deserving students in Humla.
Citizens Bank, which operates 200 branches across 61 districts, along with ATMs, extension counters, and branchless banking units, continues to expand access to modern banking services and promote financial inclusion across Nepal.
