Citizen Investment Trust’s Provident & Pension Scheme Expands to NMLBBL and ULBSL Employees

Citizen Investment Trust’s provident and pension scheme has now included Nerude Mirmire Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (NMLBBL) and Upakar Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (ULBSL). The scheme allows organized institutions and their employees to participate on a contribution or non-contribution basis.

Started in 2055 BS, the program collects and invests contributions from employees, paying benefits upon retirement. Currently, 1,150 organizations with around 33,000 employees participate. Employees can access loans for housing, home renovation, and other personal, social, or cultural needs.
