Citizen Investment Fund, Tamakoshi Rural Municipality Launch Pension Scheme for Workers

Citizen Investment Trust and Tamakoshi Rural Municipality have signed an agreement to implement a Citizen Pension Scheme for workers in Dolakha.

Under the plan, both the municipality and participating workers will each contribute Rs 500 monthly, creating a total monthly deposit of Rs 1,000.

Participants will receive pension benefits after turning 60 years old, while provisions have also been made for spouse benefits, nominee access to savings, and the option to borrow up to 80% of deposited funds after five years.
