CIB Directs SEBON to Freeze Shares and Share Investment Details of 56 People in Dipak Bhatta Case

The Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) of Nepal Police Headquarters, Lajimpat, Kathmandu, has written to the Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) in Khumaltar, Lalitpur, asking it to freeze the shares of 56 people and provide all the details of the investment made by these 56 people, who are currently under investigation.

The investigation is related to the Securities Act, 2063, and has been filed on behalf of the Government of Nepal against Dipak Bhatta. The CIB has asked the stock exchange to share all details of the shares held by these individuals and to keep those shares frozen until further notice. The bureau has requested that this information be sent to its official email address.

The 56 people named in the notice are connected to various insurance and banking companies in Nepal. They hold positions such as directors, board members, and senior executives in these companies. They are residents of different districts across Nepal.

The notice has been signed by Police Inspector Ganesh Paudel, who is the investigating officer handling this case.
