CG Foods Launches Wai Wai Classic to Celebrate 40 Years of Iconic Brand
Wai Wai producer CG Foods Nepal has introduced “Wai Wai Classic” to mark four decades of its production. Launched with the slogan “Same Taste, Same Memories,” the new product preserves the original flavor while offering a refined experience, now enhanced with dehydrated vegetables and chili flakes.

Priced at NPR 30 for a 75g pack, the product aims to reconnect consumers with nostalgic moments associated with Wai Wai, a brand deeply embedded in Nepali daily life.
The company highlighted Wai Wai’s strong market presence, holding over 60% share in Nepal and expanding globally with a 4% international market share. With an annual growth rate of around 20%, the brand continues to demonstrate the global competitiveness of Nepali products.
