CG Donates Rs 500,000 for Samba’s Treatment
In a gesture of generosity, Chaudhary Group has donated Rs 500,000 for the treatment of Sabitra Bhandari, Nepal’s star footballer.
Philanthropist Nirvana Chaudhary, Managing Director of CG Corp Global, has expressed hope that the donation would support Bhandari’s treatment and recovery.
“It is a generous gesture in support of a true national hero. We hope this help will contribute meaningfully for her strong comeback to football,” said Chaudhary.

The donation was part of CG’s slogan- “CG Hero Always With You”, which reflects the partnership between CG Motors (part of the Chaudhary Group) and Hero MotoCorp. The initiative emphasises their commitment to providing accessible and high-quality two-wheeler transportation to the public across Nepal.
CG’s assistance follows a series of contributions for her treatment through which millions of rupees have already been raised.
Bhandari, popularly known as Samba, has suffered multiple knee injuries during matches. She recently sought support through social media for her treatment.
“I have sustained serious injuries to both the ACL graft from my previous surgery and the MCL in my knee. Because of this, now I have to undergo another complex surgery,” she wrote.
She mentioned that the preliminary estimate for her treatment and rehabilitation costs $80,000 (over Rs 1.15 crore).
